Get Ready for a Summer of Music: 2023 Atlantic Music Festival Announced

WATERVILLE, Maine – The Atlantic Music Festival is pleased to announce its 14th season, taking place from June 26 to August 06, 2023 in Waterville, Maine. Hosted by Colby College, this year's festival will feature a lineup of world-renowned musicians and provide a summer residence to over 200 musicians worldwide.

The Chamber Music Series, solo recitals, concerts by the Vocal Institute, and the Atlantic Music Festival Orchestra will all return for another season of exceptional performances. Over 30 public performances will be offered free of charge as a gift to the community. The full concert roster will be released in spring 2023.

In addition to the concerts, the festival will also offer over 40 fellowship opportunities to emerging musicians and over 50 world-premiere works by the resident composers, providing a platform for new and exciting voices in contemporary classical music.

"We are thrilled to be back for another season of world-class music," said festival director Solbong Kim. "After a challenging few years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are looking forward to bringing live music back to Waterville and providing a platform for some of the best musicians in the world to showcase their talents."

"The Atlantic Music Festival has always been about more than just the concerts," Kim added. "Our goal is to provide a supportive and inspiring environment for musicians to learn, grow, and make lasting connections."
