AMF Orchestra presents
Atlantic Music Festival Orchestra II
Featuring the winner of the AMF Piano Concerto Competition.
Dynamic young conductor Benjamin Shwartz returns to the Atlantic Music Festival to lead the Orchestra in works of two great composers from the First and Second Viennese Schools, respectively: Beethoven and Schoenberg. This exciting concert opens with the dramatic Coriolanus Overture, followed by the Chamber Symphony No. 2, composed over 100 years later with Schoenberg's re-admission of tonality. The concert will conclude with an exciting performance from Zoe Lu from the Piano Institute and Seminar of Piano Concerto No.4 by Beethoven.
